Ellis 

an architectural designer and fabricator, whose passion is working with natural and recycled materials for long term environmental and social impact. He has worked and studied in Chicago, Ann Arbor, and Paris, and now is back in his hometown, Traverse City, MI. He received both Bachelor's and Masters in Architecture from University of Michigan, where he worked as a fabrication assistant and coordinator, and is currently pursuing Architectural Licensure. He is the main point person between the manufacturing process and builders / clients. He coordinates the various processes to ensure client needs are met with high quality products. He also works with various regional regulatory agencies and organizations to ensure code and health compliance and promote the growth of available green building materials in new construction.
